What a fabulous grand finale to our Summer Reading Program. Our friends from the Deptford Fire Department visited for our annual Splash Day and gave the phrase “running through the sprinklers” a whole new meaning! It was a perfect day for cooling off and we welcomed over 200 people. We love our Deptford Community and are so thankful that we can spend time having fun together! Thank you to everyone who helped make this even such a huge success.

Our friends from the Cohanzick Zoo brought some animal ambassadors to the Deptford Library and we loved every minute of it! We had a full house for this amazing program where each attendee had the opportunity to meet and interact with some new animal friends. Keeper Devon and Keeper John taught us all about the critters in their care and then allowed each child to pet the animals, all while answering questions. We learned so much and we hope our new zoo friends had fun spreading library joy! Thank you to everyone who joined us for this special program.
